I was super disappointed to see that the Merrell Ascend Gloves were discontinued, and now I'm at a loss for what could replace them.
The Merrell Trail Gloves look okay, except that I hear they have some pretty rigid arch support. I'd prefer less arch support. I liked that the Ascend Gloves were lightweight but also had some good protection against rocks.
Anyone else in the same boat? Any shoes you'd recommend?
I converted to zero drop shoes about 2 years ago from Brooks Glycerins and Asics Nimbus before that. I tested Altra Instinct and Hoka One Clifton but purchase the Altra brand since the toe box design fit my foot better. I wear a 12 D medium.
I have high arches but feel the support is sufficient. I just purchased a new pair of Altra 4.0 and going through the break in stage at this time. Check out the other models as well. Good luck!
