Garmin 405 Question - Waiting for the Race to Start... (Read 734 times)

I'm sure there's a way to figure this out, but I haven't yet. It's ten minutes before the race starts and I fire up my Garmin, but while I'm standing at the line waiting for the gun, the Garmin goes back to sleep. Is there a way to make it not go to sleep for times when I don't want to be thinking about the Garmin for 10-15 minutes?

      It's Menu>Training>Options>Timeout off. I think.

One thing I do while waiting is just to periodically tap the bezel. I have mine set to cycle between the HR screen and the pace screen so this just switches the screen which resets the timer that causes it to time out.

Mine was on, so I'll try it off... Tks!
