Achilles pain (Read 412 times)

So I went on a 5 and 1/2 day 70 mile hike last week, and around the end of day three I noticed my right foot was really sore on my achilles tendon. It was to the point where I could hardly step on it. I popped some tylenol for the rest of the hike and it was manageable, but I'm just wondering why it started to hurt? My right foot was also hurting in the same spot but it wasn't quite as bad. Then today I just came back from a 4 mile walk and I noticed the pain just a bit in my right foot. I think it may just be my tendon perhaps wasn't tough enough and the extra miles just put some strain on it? Should I go for my 6 mile run tomorrow? I don't feel any swelling or anything either. Any thoughts? Thanks!
