Adding Maps to Groups - Description Field (Read 685 times)

    When I create a course, there is a "Name" field and a "Notes" dialog box. When I "Add Map" to a group, I can select a course that I previously created with the "Name" pull-down selection list. Once I select a course, the name of the course and the distance are automatically filled into the form. It would be nice of the "Description" field in the form also be automotically be filled with the "Notes" for the course. Or, is there some distinction between a course's "Notes" and its "Description"?

      Stephen, There isn't much of a difference between the two. I didn't automatically pull in the notes because I thought that the owner of the map might want to create a new description for public consumption in case there are any personal info in the notes. I rather be on the safe side on this privacy stuff. eric Smile
