Incredible new Race reports & "On The Run" Pacing wristband (Read 769 times)

RUN HARD

Finally something worth buying to remember your marathon experience!!! I visited a booth at the Cleveland Marathon expo last week and was blown away with 2 items. The company was making its debut and will be offering race reports for recent past and future marathons. They offer a race report that is like a scrap book of the race. It has all your personal info & results, and also has charts & graphs comparing you to the rest of the field on all chip splits, and pages for personal notes/splits/bib #/ photo's, and I love the back cover....it has your actual finish time. Check it out yourself: http://endorphinreport.com/Main/Home.aspx This explains it better http://endorphinreport.com/Public/WhatIs.aspx and here is a sample http://endorphinreport.com/Public/Samples.aspx?RaceType=Marathon Hmmm $44.95 for a race photo, or an endorphinreport for $48....on sale now for $38. Also they created an "ON THE RUN" wristband....this is so cool: http://endorphinreport.com/Tools/WristbandOnTheRunExplained.aspx An easy way to tell what your new pace per mile needs to be to run goal time. http://endorphinreport.com/Tools/WristBandGenerator.aspx select Generate 'On the Run" wristband. Thanks, I found this last year, but I lost it and I wanted to use it for my training and the marathon coming up this Saturday. I am soo nervous. I have had a lot of set backs and I have only run 16 miles during my training so I'm really nervous about the 26. This is my first marathon. But, I figured I would get it over with no matter how slow I go and then I at least have something (especially since I was out last year because of that stupid car accident).. Anyway, thanks again.

This web-site keeps timing out when I tried getting the wristband, so I found a different site. It doesn't have the second type of wristband, but at least it's something until the other one speeds up. http://rogercortesi.com/athleticlog//wristsplits.php

wow Just trying to inform the running community about another product that blows away the competition The ON THE RUN wristband is FREE and is working now. I will update my training program DAILY and make public. I only own 2% of the company....I am a regular working stiff, plus runner, plus trying to offer a product that we deserve. I don't care if you buy it or not....but if your gonna spend $45 on a photo....please compare it to this $38 report. I am at work now....will update log later Today's workout was 4 X 800 (3:02/2:56/2:57/2:55) Any feedback on the product would be great Also...the ON THE RUN wristband is awesome and it's free...check it out

So the wristband is free, but you have to pay for the report...let me guess, the wristband is worthless without the report... So how is the wristband free? Couldn't I just put a rubber band on my wrist for the same effect...? k

Run Hard, Sorry to have come down so hard on you. We value so much of what Eric has done here for the running community with the RunningAhead site, we tend to reject what we perceive to be efforts to commercialize it and lose the charm of such a quality site. You have to admit you are promoting a product which you admit to have an interest in. I see you are a runner and may be genuinely excited about the product, but your approach looks a lot like things I have seen in the past as attempts to market something to a special interest group and you got called on it. Welcome to the site, I hope you enjoy it. Lynn B

Hey, even if he is from a different site, the wristband really is free. And, Eric wasn't/isn't offering either of the two things Run Hard put links to. He gave links to a photo/scrapbook thing and a wristband. While one of them does cost money, it sounds like it is marginally cheaper than the competition. Although, I don't know because it isn't something I'm interested in. And, the wristband works without buying anything, so it is completely free. Hopefully, we can all calm down and welcome him with the normal RunningAhead charm and he will be won over to this site... seeing as how it is obviously better than the competition Wink (of course, I'm not biased or anything)
