Did you know that there are only 10 types of people in the world? It's true...Those that can count in binary and those that can't.

    My world is binary

And now back to our regularly scheduled program...

My last run was a nice 3.1 miles on the TM...Or at least as nice as a TM run can be....know what I mean?

A slow (due to some calf pain) 5.75 miles across 1:03:13, with 10 sets of 10 burpees thrown in every 0.3 miles for the first 3 miles.

                    2014 goals:

                    1. Run a minimum of 1.5 miles every single day of the year

                    2. Run 1500 miles in 2014

                    3. Get my weekly mileage above 40

                    4. Brown belt in Shaolin Kempo

                    5. First Half (Oregon Wine Country HM?)

                    6. PRs: Sub-21 5k, Sub-45 10k, Sub-45 Spartan Sprint, Sub 1:55 HM (Oregon Wine Country HM)

Wait, '1100100' is only 7 bits,  assuming you dropped the leading "0" that still a 'd' and unless you're talking hex, that's not a 4.  IIRC,

ascii 0 is 0x30 (48) thru 9 0x39 (57) which makes '4'  0x34 or 0011 0100 in binary.  How sad is it that I know this and can do it w/o a translator.

Ok, I'm new to this forum and been unable to run since Thanksgiving.  Got a 3+ mile walk in yesterday and leg seems good so far.

Ortho said to start slow, so should be doing a mile a little later tonight on TM.

                      Fear is a Liar

Well I did my second run of the week/month/year tonight. It was 25 degrees out and I ran 1 mile! Yeah...recovery under way!

I'm so vegetarian I don't even eat animal crackers!

Yesterday I ran.... Are you ready for this?.....1 mile. Temperature and weather were irrelevant. I have not run in 52 days and the doc gave me the ok. It may have been the best mile I ever ran - if not the most grateful !

                          Awesome - congratulations!  Smile

5.42 miles this morning.  20 degrees with a windchill of 13.  Predawn so no sun to take the chill off.  Brrrrr.  But all the snow and ice melted off the sidewalks yesterday so it was nice to be back outside even in the cold.
