Forums >Gears and Wears>How long do very light shoes last?
It seems the answer to this question depends on what you are willing to put up with and how you run. I have one spot on my shoes (out sole) that wears out entirely too soon, and I end up replacing them before 300 miles ( the rest of the shoe seems fine). When I have money to replace them quickly, I tend to splurge a bit.
Different surfaces will cause a lightweight shoe to wear more than others, too. Are you using them to train on asphalt? Concrete? A rubber track? Gravel? Bark? Bark might get them dirty, but they last a long time that way...not so much on gravel or asphalt.
