Anyone have recommendations for a sports ortho at UCSF, more specifically for hamstring and hip issues?
Or at S.O.A.R. Medical for the same issues?

I've been a patient there for a number of years, mainly as I was employed at UCSF, and have been running 32+ years, with numerous running-related injuries, which I won't bore you with. They do have many experienced orthopaedic surgeons there, but before you consult with them, I'd suggest you see Dr. Anthony Luke, who is a Sports Medicine Specialist who works with many runners, involved with the SF Marathon, and was featured in Runner's World magazine awhile back. He has a very conservative approach towards treating injuries, always tending to surgeries as a last resort, so I really like his approach.
Thank you, RunBug. I have a mishmash of issues, and when you don't know anything about where you're told you should go, it's hard to figure out which avenue to take. Surgery is definitely not needed, but after 3 different diagnoses, I need someone who can either corroborate one of the diagnoses or say definitively "this is the issue."
