    Jogging for 30 mintues ever day,without dieting,can I lose weight ?

    One day at a time

Probably not.  I've read that the dieting/exercise effort shouldn't be 50/50, it should be 100/100.  You need to give BOTH your best effort.

Also, when you say "jogging" what pace are you talking about?  12-minute miles? Is 30 minutes of that long enough?

Perhaps a faster pace?  Or a mixture of long slow runs & fast intervals? This might be something to work up to.  Maybe you start at 30 minutes doing 12 min. miles, then increase to 45 ,minutes, etc.

        an amazing likeness

          Eat for weight.

          Jog for health and fitness.

In addition to what everyone has said above, it really depends on where you are starting from.  If you are going from a primarily sedentary lifestyle to one where you are running regularly, you may lose some weight initially.  It also depends on how much you have to lose.

Your diet will be a factor in whether you lose weight or not.  If you are eating of lot of junk or highly processed foods, switching to a better diet (not dieting) will likely help you lose weight.  If you are eating a better diet already, then reducing serving sizes to get a small calorie deficit may help you lose weight.

            Runs in the rain

The body runs very efficiently. I figure you burn a half a pound of fat for each 12 miles. If you are weighing yourself after the run most of the weight you find lost will just be water. Also, if you drink sugary sports drinks and eat more after your run that defeats any calorie burning, So, 30 minutes jogs will just have a slight benefit unless combined with some calorie reduction. I suggest replacing some meals with big salads with low calorie dressing and also having soups or broths. These can fill you up without all the calories. If you are a soda drinker try flavored seltzer instead. Make healthy food choices and that combined with exercise can produce good results!

If you are a slow runner, 30 minutes could be between 2-3 miles. Depending on how much you weigh, you would only burn 170-350 or so calories. It would take a while to burn the 3500 calories it takes to lose one pound. That's assuming you don't have a glass of Gatorade or an extra cookie after your run.

You can lose weight by increasing your exercise, but it is more effective to cut back what you are eating.  Ideally, you do both.

Assuming nothing else changes you will lose weight if you start jogging 30 minutes/day.

you will reach a new equilibrium because as you get lighter you require fewer calories.  At that point you’ll need to run more or eat less to continue losing weight.
