I got my hair highlighted because I felt some strands were more important than others. :)

Believe it or not, I would NEVER want to live in Phoenix. I love Maine! We live on three acres in the woods, adjacent to the Royal River. In the winter, it is indescribably gorgeous. Actually, in the summer, it is, too. Those scenes in the LL Bean catalogs are shot just a few miles from our house. We've lived here 12 years, and every time I go to the mailbox, I think, "I can't believe we get to live here!" I also love running in cold weather - that's why I'm trying to build up my base before I "have" to run when it's 70 degrees - ych! I guess that's why I moved from Texas to Maine, lol. Teresa

You sound like me, only I live in SouthWest Florida,on the Myakka River; it was drop-dead gorgeous here today, 79*, light breeze off the Gulf. The trail I run is laden with palm trees along the river, green and serene... several boat manufacturers shoot their commercials here! My daughters both play beach volleyball, we all dive, skimboard, kayak, so Maine is out! Every part of the country has its beauty, I think.

There's just no courtesy for runners/walkers/cyclists anymore. And how bout those yeawhos that hang out the window and scream at you as they pass by?!? Grrr!
Getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to
remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.
