Garmin error (Read 822 times)

Cynthm

    Hi,

I'm running IE on Vista. I have a garmin 405, and have downloaded the latest plugin from Garmin. It worked for a while a couple weeks ago, but now when I try to import my runs, it just gives me the yellor triangle at the bottom left of the page, stating "error on the page". What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

    eric :)

      Cynthm,

The yellow triangle means there's an error in the javascript.  I will need the error message in order to help you track down the problem.  The next time it happens, could you double click on the yellow triangle, which will open the javascript error dialog box.  Copy and paste its contents here or send it via private message and I'll take a look.

I installed your version of the plugin on IE8 and didn't encounter any problems.  The error message indicated that the error came from Garmin's code.  It's possible that something was not stored (cached) probably by your browser and became corrupt.  I would recommend that you close down all your browsers, uninstall both the driver and the plugin, reboot, and then reinstall them.

Sorry this is not much of an answer, but if the error occurs outside of my control, reinstall is the only thing I can think of at the moment.
