Having pain in my left knee. Started 1 month ago after a run. Pain was on the medial side and felt worse if I rolled back onto my heels. 10 days no running and still hurt when I tried. Received a cortisone shot and ran 3 days later with pain above the knee. Knee just feels strange. Doctor thinks it may be a tear. Back story, I've had 5 surgeries on my knee. Bone on bone on the lateral side but pain was originally medial. MRI to be scheduled. Any ideas?
SMART Approach
MRI would be my recommendation. Done! It could be an arthritic flare up. You are courageous to be running bone on bone. This would be a challenge for 99% of the population.

Do exercises but don't give much strain to your knees as it can increase your pain. Consult a good doctor for better treatment. Don't ignore your pain as it can lead to serious issues.
