Apparently at the right angle and at the right time of the year, Frozen Head Mountain looks like a frozen head.
So, what's the deal with the frozen head? Maybe somebody made a terrible mistake while splitting logs for their winter campfire?
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
Poor baby
I've always wondered about the pictures of the sign for that off the interstate. (I'd imagine a search of images for that could be disturbing)
Get off my porch
Frozen like this^^^^^^Sorry it isn't centered.
Mmmm.... toasty
I think a highway sign illustrated thusly would ensure that the woods remain pristine.

Yesterday I ran the Columbia Trail in NJ from High Bridge to Califon and back. A couple of miles of the trail are in the Ken Lockwood Gorge, It's a 20 minute drive for me to get there but it's worth it.
MTA: Replaced duplicate picture with the correct one.
Not at it at all.

Runners run
I went artsy this week.
My blog is JT Running DC. It's awesome. Guide to Washington DC Area Running Routes. Guide to the New York City Marathon. Guide to the Boston Marathon. Guide to Running Gear. Guide to Running Clothes.
Saturday I ran a section of the Palmer Bike Path along Bushkill Creek just north of Easton, PA.
Crayola R & D is across the street from where I parked.
Sunday I ran in Jacobsburg State Park which is a few miles upstream from where I was Saturday.
Gorgeous. Thanks for posting!
You know what would be great? Crayola Test Lab Happy Hour. They could stick a couple taps in there, and then let people test out the new colors on white paper placemats or tablecloths. That might be the most therapeutic post-work hour ever. (Assuming you've already run for the day.)

This has the makings of a nice XC course.
Visiting my brother in Colorado Springs this week. This is from the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. I was a little surprised to see my breath for the first time this year and so many fall colors. So happy to get to run here.
