Looking at my shoe collection today since my knees are starting to hurt.

Pitched the Asics Gel Nimbus 10 in the trash - Just over 500 miles on them.

But this almost new pair of Wave Riders look almost as worn on the bottoms after only 82 miles! I'll be lucky to get 200 miles out of them,

The Nimbus are on sale at the local Dicks's for $79.99 now so it's time to score another pair of those.

That's a good price on the Nimbus, thanks for letting us know.

Got over 300 now on my Cumulus 10's. On the Cumulus 8, I got over 600 miles. We'll see on these. Only thing I don't like about the 10's so far is that you can get stones wedged in the heel treads.

Too bad about your 12's. I had Wave Rider 8's that I put over 600 miles on. The only Mizuno I've worn (got it on sale). It was great shoe for me.

I wouldn't worry about the tread on the shoe when thinking about getting new shoes. If your legs start to ache get new shoes. Otherwise hold on to what you've got.
