Garmin 610 Issue (Read 27 times)

Trying to help a friend get her Garmin 610 connected to RA. Had Garmin Express loaded on her PC before seeing the warning message under my working RA profile. Deleted Garmin Express and installed latest Garmin Ant agent and communicator. The ant agent paired with her Garmin 610 and uploaded her workouts to the Garmin Connect website.

Therefore, Garmin Connect sees the watch just fine. However, RA says no device connected. Tried unpairing and re-pairing several times. Also tried deleted and re-installing the software. No dice. When you try to upload data to RA, it says no device, but when you click the help button (or whatever button appears next), a dialog box opens to send trouble report to RA, and in the list of information above the dialog box, it ways "Non-GPS device, Garmin 610 ignored". So it appears it sees the 610, but ignores it as not a GPS watch. Why would RA do that?
