When some one wants to know training paces for varying distances. The present race predictor calculator I have found to be petty accurate Thanks. OK, people let this thread die.( Eric excluded)
Run until the trail runs out.
SCHEDULE 2016--
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

So I do not have to calculate % of max HR for varying distances. Team Oregon Pace wizard gives heart rates to run.
Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the website. As MikeyMike pointed out, what you're asking can only be offered by a coach. I have never been a coach so I do not have the knowledge to come up with my own recommendations right now. If you have an algorithm to derive a formula to generate training recommendations, please let me know because it makes a great addition to RA.
meh
I would also imagine that McMillan would probably like to restrict the use of his formula for recruiting possible runners to coach. Copyright/patent pending?
The concept behind the RA estimator seems more sound: There's no gauging the slope of a line based on a single point through which it runs... a second data point would at least judge response to a different distance.
