Running after injury... (Read 359 times)

Well, to make a long story short, today was my first run in a while because of a problem in my hip (they don't know what it was). During my 1 mile run, it didn't hurt too bad (more like a dull ache), so I decided to finish. Now, after my run and a good 10-15 minutes of stretching, my hip aches. Is this anything to worry about or can I continue to run?

That depends.... Is it an ache or a pain? Does running make it better or worse? Does the pain stop when you stop running or does it continue? Need more detail.

Well, when I was running, it was just a dull ache and it continued for about an hour after I ran. Running made it worse because it didn't hurt at all before I ran. However, right now it doesn't hurt at all again.
