running in Rome? (Read 37 times)

I'll be taking a vacation in Rome in March. I think we'll be staying in the center of the city. Does anyone have an info/experience with running in the city? Is it doable? One of my very favorite things when discovering a new city is to explore it through runs. But I am a small female, and want to make sure I am safe. One option I have is to try to get my spouse into running shape so that we we can run together.
