Poor baby
I was SO wanting one, BUT ... my digital shoots plenty good enough video for me. The quality is pretty much the same as the Flip in terms of fps and whatnot. (Not compared to the Flip HD. just the regular flip.) Heck, my camera (Pentax Optio W20 [or some number denoting it is waterproof]) is about 3 years old, so nowadays, cameras can use big cards (mine is limited to a 2 or 4 gig or whatever, but it =s 30 mins of movie recording, which is what some Flips and similar beasts are.) Oh ... and mine is waterproof. And now I have several chips, so it's not like I'm going to run out.
Do I have a point? If you have a digital camera, see if it has a film mode and if you are pleased enough with it. May be easier to post video w/ the Flip though.
And I've seen plenty o' review touting Kodak's version.
MTA: Don't think the Flip and the like take pix, so, if you want pix, you are carrying around two things. Unless you feel your digicam suffices.
