Have you been wearing cheap flip flops or sandals with super hard bottoms a lot lately? I'm having foot pain and I'm choosing to blame my sandals rather than running for my problems. Not sure if that's the case, but another thing to think about. Especially since your pain is new.

No I haven't.

I hadn't been doing anything different than normal other than the break from running.

This was a strange deal but I've been pain free since friday.
