Ugly Mudder - Reading, PA (Read 493 times)

Anybody else doing this one? http://www.pretzelcitysports.com/uglymudder.html The course lives “down” to its name; you’ll run over rocks, trees, mud or snow (or both), discarded trash (is that a redundancy?) and runners that have fallen before you on our trails “too ugly” to be included Reading’s other trail races.

I did it last year. I don't know if I'll be able to this year. It's fun. Also, the RD modified the start of the course, so it's not as restricted as early. Be prepared for the finish. It's a slope that requires you to basically scale it, not run it.
I've actually thought about it. Totally depends on hubby and schedule. It's one I'd like to do together which would mean the inlaws would have the kids.

Your toughness is made up of equal parts persistence and experience. You don't so much outrun your opponents as outlast and outsmart them, and the toughest opponent of all is the one inside your head." - Joe Henderson

no but it looks like fun. I love the Mudfest run they do. February is just too cold for stream crossings for me.
