Consistently Slow

    To taper or not to taper. Mileage is so low is there a need to taper. My thinking is to get my 20 miles in by Thursday and rest on Friday. I want to stay at 25 miles for the week. The course is up hill for last 2 miles. The finish is at top of a step hill. Just thinking out loud. Did a downhill 10k 51:24 @ 8:16. Going for 8:36 pace, since the course is shorter but harder. 37:24 for 7k. Just to be clear the 10k could not have been any faster .It snowed the 1.5 miles. Which might have helped. Big grin

    Run until the trail runs out.
