Granite State Snowshoe Series (Read 318 times)

Just a quick note to announce the introduction of a new snowshoe racing series. The snowshoe racing RDs in NH have collectively organized their races into a series with men's, women's, and team points awarded at each event. The Granite State Snowshoe Series (http://hstrial-cdunn9.homestead.com/GraniteSeries.html) will involve six (and possibly eight) races in the winter of 2009. The series will include the following events; RACE #1 Pooh Hill Snowshoe Scramble King Pine & Purity Spring Resort East Madison, NEW HAMPSHIRE Saturday, January 10, 2009 RACE #2 Cobble Mountain Snowshoe Classic Gunstock Mountain Resort Gilford, NEW HAMPSHIRE Saturday, January 31, 2009 RACE #3 Sidehiller 4 Mile Snowshoe Race *USSA Regional Qualifier Sandwich Fairgrounds Sandwich, NEW HAMPSHIRE Saturday, February 7, 2009 RACE #4 Frosty's Dash for a Cure Atkinson Country Club Atkinson, NEW HAMPSHIRE Sunday, February 8, 2009 RACE #5 Horsehill 7k Snowshoe Race Horsehill Nature Preserve Merrimack, NEW HAMPSHIRE Sunday, February 15, 2009 RACE #6 Kingman Farm Moonlight Snowshoe 5k presented by Petzl Kingman Farm Madbury, NEW HAMPSHIRE Saturday, February 21, 2009 Questions about specific events should be directed toward the event RD.
