Yeah, looks like Jmac is right in his groove now, looking good

Upcoming; 14th Sep Scottish veterans XC trials, 289th Sep Great Scottish Run 1/2, 12th October TAMA half marathon, 27th October Leeds Abbey dash 10k

JMac: 13.1 in 1:22:24, 6:18 pace. Holding very steady.

          Andres: 11 miles in 1:20:55, 7:22 pace

I'm really impressed with the tracking for this marathon; they give splits almost every mile + every 5k. Updates in real time, very nice.

Keitany means business this year, dropping the hammer.

          2:52:16 (2018)

I stand corrected re Kamworor; surprised he could not respond that last mile. Very fast time for the men's elite.

                2:52:16 (2018)

Ok im awake. Sounds promising for the lads. Great execution so far.

What an exciting finish of the men's finals.  Hope JMac can hang in there and bust out a fast last mile or two.

                    5k- 18:55 (2018)    10K- 39:04 (2017)    Marathon- 3:00:10 (2018)

Jmac: 23 miles in 2:25:21, 6:20 pace. He slowed a bit in the last miles: 6:28, 27, 29, 34, but the last one picked up to 6:29, good sign. Now he just has to get through the big hill through 24 mi.

                      Andres: 19 mles, 2:22:12, 7.30 pace

                      2:52:16 (2018)

Yowza, he nailed mile 24 in 6:36!  Looking at the findmymarathon elevation profile that one is almost all uphill. Projected 2:45:59, bring it home!

                        2:52:16 (2018)

JMac: 25 mi in 2:38:23, 6:21 pace, projected 2:46:06, almost there

                          Andres: 21 mi in 2:38:25, projected 3:17:49

                          2:52:16 (2018)

JMac: finished in 2:46:17, PR by almost 8 minutes!  Great job!

                            2:52:16 (2018)

Assuming favorable weather, I am predicting sub 2:46 for you at NYC, with a good chance at sub 2:45.

My prediction wasn't too far off
