Plantar fasciitis???? (Read 521 times)

I am getting pain when I step out of bed first thing in the morning at the base of my first toe after the big toe. It's feels tight, hurts a little, but goes away in a few seconds and I stay pain free all day. The info about plantar fasciitis I've read describes heel pain, not what I'm feeling. Any ideas on what this is and how to overcome it?
