1000 Mile Club


I'm back... (Read 221 times)


    I've cut back on the miles pretty severely over the past month or so, mainly because I had an ankle, but also because I went to karate camp two weeks ago. Three workouts a day, but very little running. (I managed to get out a few days. The point is, I think I'm back. I'm following all the advice I can fit into my schedule, including a 13-miile run today to start my marathon training, and (yikes!) an ice bath recovery. It wasn't as bad as I had been dreading. So, if the running gods allow, I'm back on track for 1,000, and maybe some extra change. Here's to an injury free rest of the year, for all of us!


      Welcome back Mr. Almost to Page One. You will definitely get some change in above 1000. I took a couple fo weeks off but now I am back to training for an October marathon. See ya on the front page
