Curses to the pace bunny... (Read 104 times)

man she is relentless....  I should catch her near the end of this month or early May but darn it!  She just won't stop.

    Camp Muir

Past her today! .Hopefully she's in the rear view mirror from here on in.

        Good job!

I have a few more miles to gain back before I catch that rodent again. Started off ahead of the bunny early this year but injury and some illness took me down just enough to let the bunny slip past..

I've got a long road ahead of me to catch her. This was one hell of a winter that dragged on and I don't even know if I'll be able to catch her or not. Black eye

(ETA: I see I need 116 miles a month from now until the end of the year. I've never maintained that high mileage. Debating leaving the group so this might be my last post in here.)

Don't leave, use it as a challenge.  Two years ago I had injury and forced to rest most of summer. But I still managed to get close.  I knew I would not make 1000, but it still was a goal/incentive to try.

If you don't make it, at least you gave it your all.   No dishonor there.  So don't give up because you won't get to 1000 this year - chase the varmit.  Dig deep and keep running.Wink  You may surprise yourself.

Injury and then a race debacle re-injury and I'm back behind her again.  Slowly making the comeback.  :Finally less than 10 miles back.  Soon I'll be able to see her just ahead of me during my daily runs.

I started off with the goal of 1000km which considered I spent most of last year injured I thought was resonable.  After the hard winter we had, I've caught the 800 mile bunny, but this guy is 150km ahead of me, so I currently hate him and want him shot.  Dead

Please don't leave.   I have not made the 1000 mile mark for the last 2 years - each year I get closer.  Can you make 900 miles?

I should catch up to and pass the pace bunny on my long run tomorrow. First time this year I will be ahead of it!

Seems the harder I try to catch up the more she moves. Makes me crazy. If I had not taken time due to injury I would be on. giving up is not an option!
