I've gone and done it. 1 1/2 miles from the 1000 mile mark and I can't even run.
Went for a 9 miler on Saturday, stretched properly and by Sunday I could hardly lift my leg off my bed when I got up.
What a pain in the A$$. Right in the middle of my marathon training program too. Oh well, see you all in a week or so.....

That sucks, Clay. Hopefully you will recover quickly!
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

Well 7 days have passed and I went for my first post injury run, Took it easy and my groin felt fine. Finally passed the 1000 mile mark. I feel good.

Good to hear it! It can be such a pain to rest an injury, but it's definitely worth it in the long run.

Congrats on passing the 1000 mile mark. Good to hear you´re running again. Take it easy for awhile.
