Just curious. How many of you run trails?
I had to do that to recover from injury and found it a great place to get miles.
What kind of trail? How long can you go? Are there routes you can share?
So I run at Eagle Creek in West Indianapolis. Sprawling complex where they run a couple of halfs and one full. Normal route is red route which is 6.5. Mostly dirt and some single track. Lots of wildlife and a few large bodies of water. Very few times do we have water crossings unless we get large rains. Lots of maps on RA if you're in the area. Worth the visit.

I love the trails out here in Washington state.

Where are my pics. Photbucket strikes again.
I ran 50km yesterday on very hilly trails and loved it I actually prefer trails to the road-- less pounding and generally more scenic.
Sulphur Springs 50km-- Ancaster, ON-- May 28, 2022

There was some serious discussion of longer trail races during our HM on Saturday. Of course our crew was focusing on the ability to bring more beer.

That looks like fun. Sadly no hills like that in central Indiana.
We do get some nice Fall colors though.
That looks like a great trail. I love running through the trees.
