Final results in for Desert Solstice. 128.132 miles.
Awesome effort out there this weekend. Sounds brutal for what you had to go through with the weather.
I may line up against you for a beer mile, but never an ultra.

Fuel & hydration went okay I think. The 100k - fail. 8 laps of 6.2 miles each for 50 miles. 12:48:28. I basically walked the last lap -- Ache and tiredness in the legs combined with darkness on the trail. Running tired or in the dark is one thing. Tired and on a dark trail is something else. At least for me this time. So I wussed out. Wriggly I am in total Awe!!!

No. I think maybe I need to re-evaluate my plans for 2013. But thanks, Nads.
On the other hand I am kinda proud of the fact that during the last lap in the woods,
I listened to Stephen King on my iPod (first time ever used iPod in race) and did't scare myself silly.
Book IV of the Dark Tower isn't that Stephen Kingish.

The weather sucks and I'm sick, so I will go as hard as I can.
