3650 Miles in the Hurtlocker

300 (Read 944 times)

Ostrich runner

One day to run ~26 miles.  That is a stunt, not training.  I am training now.  And I cannot triple on Friday anyways.

mta: it'd be a day late, but hilarious.

Wow! I probably don't really need that much, so if someone needs some, feel free to cut into mine. I'll pick out some good Scotch for you. I do have a deep freezer, but it's in the garage and on one of those outlets with a reset. I need to switch that up - lost some food when it tripped several months ago. I'm not uptight about many things, but between a few years of lean living and my restaurant work, food waste makes me twitch.

OOOh. I'm in and think you need a good bottle of bourbon in return.

Hey spaniel, I can drop by your place on the way to Tecumseh and you can run with us on Sat. Good way to start the Dec miles and be a bandit.

I'll pick out some good Scotch for you.

        You read my mind.  Smile

If you want less, take less, up to you.

It took me like 10 minutes to swap the GFI in my garage for the freezer.  Can't be wasting good meat someone sweated over, especially when that someone was me!

          Bourbon, Scotch...yum

Just had CEIE over last night and let him sample some of my stuff. He didn't care for the Scotch.

Last night I enjoyed a Chocolate Stout followed by two fingers of Makers Mark.

And I'm actually looking forward to starting this stupid 300 challange tomorrow. I'm a friggin idiot...I don't have a treadmill for a back up and it is December in Iowa.

I am trying that this month, for exactly the same stupid reason.

            Done. 300/November.

That is an impressive month. Why coes everyone make fun of you?

                Ha Ha, why not?

                Not at it at all.

Nice.  I was 16 miles short...missed doubling the last couple days so you can have a burger at Beer Mile.

Of course, if I had not missed 8 days of running in the month it would have been easy peasy...

OK, just 250 to go. Just 8 miles each and every day for the rest of the year. It might be close. Perhaps I should run a lot this weekend.

                      Who makes fun of me?

True story. I put on this little rinky dink marathon. It is kinda a bit of a tough course. Folks sign up, but none of them really like it. This year, the seventh year it was run, buncha IRL Swampies put signs all over the course.

                      This was my favorite:

It was all over the course, over and over.

                      This too:

                      Wait.

                      What was your question?

Thr first sign is posted on the swamp page. I was wondering what that was all about.

You're welcome and it looks like you'll hit 2000.
