3 days to go. 24.3 miles to go. I should make it, but I am TIRED.
So bittersweet,This tragedyWon't ask for absolution; This melody,Inside of me,Still searches for solution.A twist of faith,A change of heart Cures my infatuation.A broken heart, Provides the sparkFor my determination.
41/ 200.5; I ought to coast in nicely.
Maybe I set the bar too low.
New goal - make it to 200. Life schedule and some niggles and tight everything in the legs meant drop off in daily mileage for the past week.
13.6 to go. I just might make it. Good LORD this was a stupid idea. Heh.
A list of my PRs in a misguided attempt to impress people that do not care.
I didn't officially join the throwdown because I'm not in a state to throw anything down..but I did try and commit to running my highest mileage month since everything went crappy back in January. I got ill at the start of the month and ended up starting on a low mileage week (thanks to 3 days off and the bonus long run day of July being a curtailed long run of 8 miles). However I just scraped 221 miles which is a measly 9 miles more than last month, but, at the moment, any month that goes over 200 feels a big achievement. So not throwdown more of a gentle push of determination (without stupidity thrown in for the sake of chasing miles) but the throwdown did motivate me to try and get back from what started as a poor month. At the moment I don't think I can cope with much more, but I need to try and get some long runs in and then try and remember what it's like to actually commit to running something that involves the word tempo or worse, interval (at the moment the closest I'm getting is progression).

55.1 for the last week and 242.9 for the month.
Just a little bit short
Running on Vacation was very spotty - Took 3 days days off last week and Monday this week ~ 62 miles last week
What I did find I was very good at was running the tap line
That is where you go into a resturant or bar and order a pint of each kind of beer on the tap. Shuh's in St Joseph MI had a nice tap line ~ once you ignored Miller Light.
They had a java vanilla stout that I would not have tried if I were not running the line ~ I would have missed out.
Tonight I will try and get it up above 500 for the month.
Long dead ... But my stench lingers !
We drank a lot of beer - But I did run into 1 beer Bells beer I did not like ~ Bells 3rd Coast Ale
The rest of the MI beer drinking exerience was 1st rate.
