      Any winner for December?

      Feeling the growl again

        Any winner for December?

Sorry.  Adding a third pup to the litter has been a real kick in the pants, time-wise.  I'm on paternity leave starting today for the rest of the week...my only goal was to get my red wine racked onto oak chips...didn't happen.

Apparently, my son is a cuddler and MUST be held 22 hours/day or the shyt hits the fan.  Cripes.

The winners for December are MrPHinNJ....for running within 30sec of a 5K PR after a very tough year and just getting back to real racing...and CliveF's kid for running like a man.  I don't buy for minor though, so Clive can cash in on the beer himself.

Honorable mention to rocken but I think she's in the running for January already.

Been there, done that.  It gets better ... eventually.

On my son's behalf, he'd like to thank the Academy, all the wonderful people at the Christmas Elf who worked so hard to make this event what it is, and of course, Mom for her invaluable genetic contributions to his success.  And Dad, for buying him running shoes and then getting out of his way.

          Congrats, Mr, Potato Head!

Thanks.  It was within 85 seconds of my PR, but 30 or so under what I was hoping for so I'll take it.  And when we meet the beer will be on me.

I don't see your entry on the list. Better get some miles in before I register you against your will.
