and
Ntown Kevin, 6/14, Newtown Rooster Run, 5K, goal depends on 2 weeks before, but will for now say PR
Both courses have one significant hill, but I really like the first course and have run well there, and the second one I can run to and really have no excuse not to run.
Come all you no-hopers, you jokers and roguesWe're on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes

I have no idea what the course is like, so that could turn out to be overly ambitious.

Be excellent to PR, and win AG, and beat David my perennial competitor in the series.
It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

Trying again from my race last week, to get under this. The Kid won't be with me this time so I won't get pulled out of racing this time.
Ntown, see you there.

Cecil59, 6/7, Festival of Miles, 1 mile race on a track. Goal = <5:40
It's a race, but if it goes like last year, I'll be running it all alone as a time-trial in my age group. Or I could run with the Elites and race for DFL. I ran 5:30 last year, which age grades to 82.4%. I "only" need to run 5:33 to get the same 82.4% score, but I'm feeling slower than that, so I'm going to stick with the sandbagging approach and go for <5:40.
Retired & Loving It
Western States 100, 6/28-29. Goal: < 24:00
That is badass bhearn, especially considering what you've gone through to get there .... best of luck!
Mark me down for a 1500 on the track, 6/28, goal of 5:05. If I'm lucky and training goes well I might revise the goal down ...
There's also a USATF Master's track meet on the 14th of June but I'm not sure if, or what event even, I'll run. If I run it'lll be either the 800 or 1500 or maybe both. Will decide later.
BAM.
Thanks!

Run for the Hills 30K, 6/1
Goal: 2:40 (very hilly)
MTA I did the math... that's 8:35 pace. On those trails/hills, I can't see that happening. OK, I'll go with the ultrasignup prediction, 2:49 (9:04 pace).
Big Basin 50K, 6/8
Goal: < 4:53 (last year's time)
May be tough.
Last long run before WS.
16:47 and 2OA for some prize money. Plus got to see mgerwn bring it home nicely. Definitely a solid morning, and I can go faster I'm sure.

Great course and a great day. Felt pretty good at the finish, so I probably could have pushed a little harder. Got to meet Hasher Rick and share a few beers. Had a great time.

Screw ultrasignup. Ran 2:33:54, 2AG, 3rd master. Had a blast.
Awesome! Nicely done Bob.
