I saw some nice fireworks Monday.  Unfortunately on Sunday the fireworks consisted of a nasty thunderstorm that went through my neighborhood.  We had a micro burst of wind come through and it snapped one foot diameter branches off of my neighbor's 60 year old maple tree.  I lost part of a small tree myself, and throughout the area many trees took a hit (nothing like those tornadoes in the midwest earlier this year).  Anyway, I'll be out helping my neighbor limb the branches this weekend.  Lots of work but there will be plenty of workers.
