October 2010: tetsujin - 38.6 miles in four runs. All barefoot but 5 miles of gravel in SpokaneYTD - 291.95 miles - apparently finally no one's monthly total has exceeded my YTD
(of course, several nono-like multi-marathoners must still be resting up before reporting in)

just seein' if being in shape from winter ski racing in those days was good enough to run annual marathons
since 1977 and triathlons of all distances to IM since 1978 without that much, if any, training. Yippee, it was.

Even with 21 marathons, one half mary, two 10K's and two ~5K's (3.75 miles and 4.3 mile in a tri)
plus 47 miles of nonevent, training runs (in January), 2009 was 162.3 miles short of 800 miles.
