        How'd'ja do?

I fell short my more than 300 miles in 2015

but, at least, got a little over 500 in 2016

for the first time in over ten years

even though with only five marthons

        vs. !0 in 2015.

Unfortunately, 2017 doesn't look much better

I met last year's goal of 750 miles. I wasn't quite ready for 800 miles but joined the group anyway.

This year I'm aiming for 850 miles. I'm off to a poor start this year, being sick for the past three days. Plenty of time left to make my goal, though.

I'm off to the worse start in more than ten years

but, hey, it's been a rainy winter so far and lots of time

to catch up.  Yesterday's ten mile day with five

in the morning sun and five more in the afternoon

setting orb'll help.  Added to the dozen or more

robins along the edges of the soccer fields

along the way in, first dandelion and daisy

of the year on the way back.

            . . . . . ...
