Anyone going to be there? In a spate of stupidity I signed up for the Iron Turkey. I am happy it is on Saturday since it seems a lot of the races lately are on Sunday's which always causes me to have to rush away to get home in time for family activities.
Not this year, although I wish I would be there. A bit of a heel soreness due to big rocks has caused me to skip signing up!

Hey George, I'm glad you mentioned this. I've been thinking about trying another race. Not quite sure about this weekend.... I hurt my knee last August & then (my spate of stupidity) I 'ran' the Twin Cities marathon. I'd gotten back up to 10 miles with knee fairly quiet helped by PT, but 26 was a push. Anyway, I decided I wanted to finish regardless, & had a great time. So am rehabbing. Still, this sounds like fun. & I'm used to sucky races. So, maybe! and good luck!
