    My exploration of the oat and a thoughtful Sunday long run has brought you this. Toasted oats Toast about a cup of oats in a dry skillet over high heat, flipping and shaking the oats continuously. (or they will burn) Once the oats are a toasty golden brown or beggin to smoke a bit, dump them in a bowl add milk while still hot, and drizzle honey over the top. This turned oat to be a realy fast, and delicious way to make oats. I like mine with vanilla soy milk. I think adding sliced almonds in for the toasting would be great.

      Watching too much Rachael Ray has brought you this. Oat Smoothie While making your favorite smoothie add a handful of rolled oats. I am thinking toasted will be even better. Will have to try it next time, I might even add the almonds. Turns a smoothie into a complete breakfast. Oat Smoothies are now a family favorite.
