I tried my hand at making my own LaraBar. I used the Cocoa Mole recipe on this page, although I did add one more date and a few more walnuts, which probably wasn't necessary. Not bad, spicy and chocolate-y. I haven't had a real Larabar in a long time so I don't know if I got the texture completely right but it was good enough for me. The recipe makes a small quantity, about 2 servings.

I am thinking about trying a bigger batch using this recipe as a guide.
