Maybe I should try performance enhancers. lol

'Morning! I'm frikkin sleepy, and I slept just fine last night. Meh. I dragged my carcass to the track before work for a short tempo run. 5 miles, which included 5 x 3:00 "light tempo" (about a 6:50 pace). 53 degrees was colder than I remember it. Now I've got nothing hard until Sunday's race.

4 - they felt good.
Yesterday I took the car to work and was stuck in construction work traffic. This morning I really really enjoyed running to work.
Former Bad Ass
Morning! I took a sleeping pill since I had been unable to sleep for almost 5 days and I did, phew. I have 10 miles tonight. Still no sign of going to work any time soon. Maybe tomorrow?

I had 8x1k. It was truly awful and a bunch of them were too slow.
14. Brutal.
Ran from home today - up at 4:30, out the door at 4:45. With predictable results. Ugh.

I wanted to get to the gym early and after me weight lifting, hit the stairclimber/master thingy for 30 minutes since today would be my rest day from running. Could not, for the life of me drag my ass out of bed this morning.
So after taking my son to school, I headed to the gym and got there at 8:30. It was weird, I felt out of place but got it done. I didn't have time for any cardio shit though

Barking Mad To Run
Had a vertigo episode on Monday that knocked me for a loop, had to go to the hospital and get some valium.
Felt much better on Tuesday and got in a great 5-mile run.
Today is a planned easy 3 miles after work.
Also, start getting my packets today for my races this week. I have a race on Friday after work, 1 Saturday morning, 1 Saturday evening, and 1 Sunday morning. The rest of Sunday will be spent napping, lol.

Spent the afternoon looking for milk (for the hubby), eggs, and basic shit. Found fresh steaks, woohoo!
I hate the post hurricane stuff so much! Normalcy takes a while.
We are off the whole week with a tentative return to work Monday. Sheesh. Downtown must be fucked.

My parents are back in their house; no damage, but no power. They did not have a generator, and of course none anywhere to be found in stores, but were somehow able to borrow one. So at least they now have a working fridge and some lights.
If sloggin' is running, that.
How's the accounting world?
Accounting is still boring, but it pays the bills.
Running around 20 per week now. Waiting for fall to add some speed work.
