William Tell Friday Penguins (Read 14 times)

PADRunner

The "Penguin" daily threads were originally conceived to emphasize that all members of the community have a place on the boards. Encouragement, motivation, a little love nip (you will love one, give it a try!) or even a little kick in the pants when needed -- it can happen here. Basically, we celebrate just getting out there and moving our tails! What is "slow"? "Slow" is a perception but one of the common benchmarks is the 10:00/mi pace; but there's no firm line. In fact, there are many of us that have slipped past this, and just hope that no one notices and revokes their "igloo privileges."  And some penguins don't run at all, we just hang out for the company! It can be confusing for the forum newbies, but we're not one of the teams in any of the fine games. It's a totally open group, so stop lurking, post an introduction of yourself dive in and join the fun! No application necessary! There might even be a lovely picture for Scotty (we love pics!)

Morning!  I have 7 miles tonight.  Ran 5 more with hubby last night, for 17 for the day.  Back feels much better for sure!

HopesMom, if you can, pretty please with a cherry on top.

        Singer who runs a smidge

Well, now that song is going to be stuck in my head for a while!!  My tech is off today, so I'm enjoying a day of quiet even though I have a bajillion things to do.  I got my tutorial on our new billing software, though, and now I've cleared out my stack of things to bill.  That's one down!!

PAD -- enjoy the trail miles!!

Docket -- finally found it!!  On the third external storage device I checked ...

Chicken Potpie Recipe for those who asked Smile

          4-5 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 pkg. Lipton Dry Chicken Noodle Soup Mix
1 lg can of cream of chicken soup
          Chicken Broth
          1 lb Frozen Mixed Vegetables
2 Deep Dish Frozen Pie Crusts
1 Box Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts

Boil Chicken in broth. Save broth. Cool chicken and cut into small pieces. Add frozen vegetables and dry soup mix to the broth. Bring Mixture to a boil and then turn down to simmer until vegetables are tender. Stir in Cream of Chicken soup and then add cut up chicken. Spoon mixture into 2 deep dish pie crusts. Cover the tops with refrigerated crusts and seal edges with a fork. Pierce the top of the crusts 4 or 5 times with a fork. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until the top of the crusts are lightly browned.

When it's all said and done, no one remembers how far we have run.  The only thing that matters is how we have loved.
