lol - oops, yeah.   I'm a horse vet.  Not very interesting.

Since you chimed in SRL, by night you are McLovin, by day you....

You need to whip out your horse schlong photo...this forum is just not home without that.

Environmental protection.  The civil enforcement part of environmental protection, to be more exact.  I basically visit businesses that have violated environmental regulations and tell them that I have initiated the process to revoke their licenses and put them out of business.  This is one reason why I tend to be relaxed and non-confrontational on website forums.  After spending a few hours telling people that they are about to lose their jobs, I just like to chill back here online.

Cecil!! That's hilarious - they look like equine ocular prostheses - the ball part looks a it bigger than I'm used to but otherwise that's what they look like!!   What's the answer?  And if I'm right, why the heck do you have that?  I'm cracking up here!

I do end-user pc support and network administration for my day job, but I do create and maintain the odd web site here and there for friends, and I've been doing the web site for Veterinary Ophthalmic Specialties, Inc for many years. I'm also an amateur photographer, so I do all the product shots, and therefore I have a few of these strange items hanging around at home. The retired gentleman that runs VOS was a serious marathoner "back in the day", but is in his '70's now and hasn't run fast for a couple of decades, ever since he apparently tried to stop a car from speeding through a crosswalk with a body-check.

That is very very funny!   Sadly, the reason I recognized it is from the one sitting next to my desk from a horse that spit it out of its eye socket a while back.  We don't use them due to the high rate of rejection/infection.   I do, however, get to take out a lot of eyes!  Fun.

More or less what I do is just upload hours and set things up for our corporate payroll folks to do the actual processing.  They do the tax and benefit calculations/deductions, and I just sit there and laugh.  Okay, no I don't just sit there and laugh, but it sounded good.  However, problems do arise, (usually with over payments or even with delayed short-term disability payments), and I do my best to resolve them the best that I can, considering how much is beyond my control.  I actually love the job, to be honest...mostly because I have my own office, that is.  Smile

Cool.  I remember my 6th grade science teacher taught us about fire extinguishers by spraying them out the window....luckily, it wasn't recess at the time.  lol
