Just a little pool warm up, two spots still real sore from PT.
Off work, catchup with chores today

I did not want to get up this morning, nor did I. Hopefully I can get a run in this afternoon before picking my son up.
My forecast keeps pushing those beautiful 50s temps back and further from me

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

It's my Friday! Of course, what are our plans for the 4 day weekend? Absolutely nothing and it's going to be legitimately 100 degrees.

That sounds like fun.

The Hartford Marathon/HM is virtual (no shit, right?) and I signed up for the 5K/10K/HM challenge (I did not sign up the challenge that includes the marathon because FTS). Free for me since I work for the title sponsor. WOO HOO! The 10K overlaps with the Virtual 50 Mile Challenge I signed up for, so I'll be able to knock off both 10K's in one shot.

Wait, you’re not running a 50-miler are you?
I went ahead and ran after my dental cleaning, ended up with a progression run which I'm rather pleased with... 80 degrees and sunshine with a nice breeze.
Mile 1 - 10:01
Mile 2- 9:46
Mile 3 - 9:23
Mile 4 - 9:12
Mile 5 - 9:07
Mile 6 - 8:34
I am going to have to get back to using my Stick regularly, could feel some tightness in my shins at the start of the run, but it went away after stretching them.
Not in one shot. It's a four race challenge that adds up to 50 miles. 10K + HM + HM + 17.6 miler.
