Yo.
It's been forever since I've stepped on a scale, but after a month of calorie restriction and abstaining from alcohol (for the most part), today I will do exactly that. I didn't really have much to lose (maybe 4 LBS), but since my training has been limited, it gave me something to focus on.
Anyway, I will do that later. I have a run this morning after coffee.
What's up?

Dinner with Team Oski last night, then slept 10 hours, now I've got coffee and DW is making pancakes. Headed out for a 40 mile bike ride after that. Rock n roll.

race obsessed
30 minutes on the bike trainer - (approx - 11 miles of effort)
Long run later.
farg my legs are tired...
"What about their legs? They don't need those. Ooh! They look tasty!"

Good morning!
6.3 miles in 50F temps. I can't complain about it. Last Sunday it was 16F and the road had 9 inches of snow.
I hope everyone has a great day!
Runner with a riding problem.
Had to cut my run short because of a bad case of side stitches. Could have toughed it out if I were number obsessed, but I am not. Other than the disappointing finish, it was a great run:
17.87 miles with 6 at MP, 7:40 avg pace. 67 miles for the week.
MTA: 269.1 miles for January. A bit less than December, but I got a cold this month.

Morning. Feeling much better so I might head out to run tonight, except it's now back to Summer. Of course, now that I am better, I missed the whole Miami Winter, ha.

13.1 miles... I was aiming for 12, but, well. Stopping anywhere between 12 and 13.1 is hard to do.
chasing the impossible

I had no problem stopping at 12.
12 mile progression run from 8:47 down to 6:47

19 freaking miles this morning baby!!!
Best freaking week I've had in like over a month, although it feels more like an eternity. I honestly didn't think it was going to happen, but instead of the planned 18, I overshot that by .6 miles so I said fuck it I'll go for 19.

PRs
5k - 24:15 (7:49 min/mile pace)
10k - 51:47 (8:16 min/mile pace)
15k -1:18:09 (8:24 min/mile pace)
13.1 - 1:53:12 (8:39 min/mile pace)
26:2 - 4:14:55 (9:44 min/mile)
I ran 6.
I spent as much time stretching pre and post-run as I did actually running.
Stopping anywhere between 12 and 13.1 is hard to do.
I'll never understand that, but I gave up trying Nice run.
Niice!

I've been running some, mostly on the TM because of hail/wind/whatever since I don't have to go outside if I don't want to.
Cake layers are made, decoration comes later today. I need to buy more Nutella.
Also, more detailed results from the 2016 in 2016 mileage game are up here.
I'll never understand that, but I gave up trying Nice run. Niice! Niice!
11 outside. Kinda slow cause roads still suck, but better than being on the treadmill again.
I'm anal.
Really, I never used to understand why people couldn't just run three miles instead of being compelled to run 3.1 ... and now I'm the same way.
