I have never had a Mexican meal that was hot enough, they usually only offer a side of jalapenos if requested. I think the Cantonese have them beat on heat, at least up here anyway.
Food spiciness: Mexican < Chinese < Indian < Thai

I don't think Chinese is spicy, though. Mexican not much (but apparently the one last night was OMFG hot), but Indian and Thai, yum.
