I'm impressed Necco Wafers made the list. They used to be located in Cambridge, MA and I'd gone to the factory store before they closed up shop. The old Necco place is now Novartis R&D and they painted the old Necco wafers tower to look like a DNA strand. Chocolate was my favorite.

83 for me too, we're candy twins!
i was surprised because I'm not a big candy guy. But those of us with older kids have the benefit of 2 full trick-or-treating careers to draw from. It's more of a marathon than a sprint (as long as we are doing this on a running forum).
Some of these I have never heard of. Some I have eaten but not in 40 years.

I've had 91. HA!
The ones I have not had are ones I've never heard of. I had to Google what some of them were, but then I was like "Oh yeah, I remember those!", likes Zotz and Sixlets.
Abba-Zabba
Big Hunk
Black Cow
Blackjack Gum
Chick-O-Stick
Cinnamon Bears
Mamba (though I've had stuff like it)
Pocky
Slo Poke
No wonder I've got a mouth full of fillings.

I think I was at 77 or 78. There are lot that I have tried - once - and just didn't like. Candy necklaces? :P
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Candies I loved as a kid that need to be on that list:
Fortune Bubble
Squirrel Nut Zippers
Big League Chew (this stuff had to have been invented by Big Tobacco)
Astro Pops
B-B-Bats
Goobers
Mike and Ike
to name a few

Squirrel Nut Zippers - I think you are making that up. Wasn't that a band?
Big League Chew +1
I'm pretty sure Mike & Ike was on the list.
Dad on the run.
74 here.
Mike and Ike was on the list.

Wow, major flashback!
#21, Candy Necklace, 5 cents each - that's what I was buying in the little candy shop across the street during my lunch break recess from 3rd grade on Friday, November 22nd 1963 at just past 12:30 CST in Clovis, New Mexico.
I scored a 75 on this.
Retired & Loving It
Mmmmm...beer
99! (being a former fat guy has it's advantages lol) I've never even heard of Abba Zabba, that's the only one I've never eaten.

83-ish for me. A couple were pretty familiar and I don't remember if I tried them as a kid or if I just recall the name.
