Jetta, Rocky and I got in 10.1 miles out on the trails. It was a crisp and chilly 55 degrees, but I quickly warmed up after the first 10 minutes.
Ran 9 out of planned 10. My right knee was hurting, and I figured I better play it safe as 1 mile more or less is not going to make a difference, I am pretty annoyed at this though, now is not the time for a new injury, ffs. Probably nothing. Might be the shoes. Taper madness? It seems a little early for that, but might be.
Anyways, 9, and a total of 58.6 miles for the week.

'Morning! I got 10.3 miles done at 7:53 pace in more bullshit heat and humidity. Another run where my clothes were drenched after. Lost ive pounds too. The humidity is supposed to clear out this morning and leave a warm but dry afternoon. I may run a few more miles just to enjoy that weather.
Bring on the football!!

Checking out races before the Senior Games at the end of the month.
There's a 5K/10K next Sunday about 20 miles down the road that lists itself as fast - 2nd year of the event - might give it a go even though the weather is calling for rain.

99 cents for any size Cumberland Farms coffee is the best deal going right now, and they have those little black coffee shots you can add to it for a little extra kick at no charge.
Hi, I went "R" pace at the track:
4 x 200 (38, 37, 35, 37)
4 x 400 (1:12, 1:14, 1:14, 1:13)
2 x 600 (1:58, 1:58)
I had been looking forward to this workout all week, and ran it with razor sharp focus. This despite being miserable during the intervals. It turned out well, I was so happy when I downloaded it and saw the splits.
9.2 miles total. 49.3 for the week.
18 mile progression run. I wasn't really happy with how hard the last 10k felt =\
Incredible. That run makes me want to cry.
Warm&fuzzy
Good morning!
I ran 6.1 miles at 64F and liked it.
I hope everyone has a great day!
Runner with a riding problem.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

Speedy speedy
And I like how your first mile was 9:52
Well it was only a progression down to MP and I was supposed to drop the pace by just 10 sec per mile every 5k arriving at MP for the last 5k. What made me want to cry was how hard it felt for the last few I don't know how I ran a marathon at that pace last year
Super B****
We had a "new member run" for my running club today so I went to that... 11.1 total. Everything looks five-dimensional to me now and it is giving me the worst headache.
