I have run this stupid thing 4 times and only one of those produced anything resembling a race effort (another year I drove there and left! ). It seems that coming out of winter training, my legs are usually fatigued and stiff and lack that bounce one needs for a half marathon. So for now, it'll just be my first event of the spring season and we'll see if I can dial in the training for only the second time.
