FriDAILIES in Kilometers (Read 43 times)

LRB

    Yo.

I have 10 of them shits on the schedule. And since 10 is such an easy one, tomorrow's run will be somewhere around 14k...I think. FFS.

    Cyberic

Lol! I'll be running 4 loops of the park at lunch, and that will make my run a bit shy of 13 kms.

      Cyberic

I ran my MP miles at the track yesterday. There are 2-3 track clubs working out there on Thursday nights, one boxing club, and random personal fitness coaches with their pupils. We have plenty of room, but it's also kinda busy.

So this guy shows up: athletic guy with a camelback on his back, small soft minimalist shoes. He's running with his dog on the track. Very well behaved dog, on a short leash. There was loose in the leash as the dog was used to run next to his master.

But, dogs are not allowed on the track.

So many people from the track clubs told him in his first lap. The guy was not happy. He attached his dog on the fence, in the shade, and continued running, but he was yelling at the track coaches to get the hell off the track if they were not running as he'd run past them. He did that for a few laps. Then, he left.

        End of story.

Don't you like stories like that, that end with no punch whatsoever?

          Good morning.

          Rick, enjoy your 10K.

          Cyberic99, have a fantastic 14K.

I'll run at the gym after work. I don't know how much.

Your story is not complete because it's missing a picture of the dog.

I have 13 miles tonight. Now, 13.1 miles is 21k. A tenth of a mile is 160m. So I need to subtract 160m from 21k, because I'm only running 13 miles, not 13.1. That's as far as I can go in the calculation because I've completely forgotten how to work in metric, apparently. Who had this bad idea to put things in kilometers, anyway? grrr...

I was thinking of running 5K, but my boss needs me to cut grass this morning.  Can I measure in yards instead?  There are 14 left on the list, we'll get most of them.

When do we measure in hogsheads?

When do we measure in dogtails?

Hello and Happy Friday roffles!  I am halfway through my five shot Americano.  Giggity!

I ran 11.265408 km this morning.  Easy effort.  It was awesome....50 degrees and my hands got cold!

I'm not liking the km crap.  The world needs to get in line with America.  It is in your best interest to do so.

Morning!  I have Pilates and 6 miles (and no, I don't know the kilometers) tonight.

As part of the 2024 London Marathon, I am fundraising for VICTA, a charity that helps blind and visually impaired children. My mentor while in law school, Jim K (a blind attorney), has been a huge inspiration and an example of courage and perseverance. Please consider donating.

                        Metric System?!  No way.

My car gets 40 rods to the hogshead and that's the way I likes it.

5.5 MILES, but just to appease, that's somewhere short of 10km.
